Privacy Policy

Finch is run by Rayan Mansur, an individual based in the United Kingdom (“Finch”, “we”), who is the data controller for the information described here. This policy explains what we collect through this website and the Finch waitlist, why, and the choices you have. Privacy questions: hello@finchwallet.app.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you join the waitlist.
- Signup details: when you signed up, which form you used, the consent wording you saw, and whether you confirmed or unsubscribed.
- A one-way hash of your IP address, used only to stop automated signups. We delete it after 24 hours.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not run analytics that identify you.
Why we use it
We use your email only to confirm your signup and to tell you about Finch’s launch and early access. Our legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. We use the IP hash for our legitimate interest in protecting the waitlist from abuse.
Who we share it with
We never sell or rent your data. We share it only with service providers that run the waitlist for us:
- Supabase (database hosting)
- Vercel (website hosting)
- Resend (email delivery)
These providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States, under standard contractual safeguards. We may also disclose data if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your email until you unsubscribe, ask us to delete it, or 12 months after Finch launches, whichever comes first. Unconfirmed signups are deleted after 30 days.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your data, and withdraw consent at any time. Every email has an unsubscribe link, or email hello@finchwallet.app. We reply within 30 days. If you are in the EU, UK or California, you may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
Waitlist data is stored in an access-restricted database and is never exposed to the public website. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit what we collect so there is little to expose.
Children
The waitlist is not for anyone under 16. If we learn we collected a child’s email, we delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above. If the change is significant, we will email you first.
